During this course you will gain an understanding of the different events that can be planned and understand the role of an event planner, understanding what needs to be included on an event plan and how to complete one to the highest standard. You will understand how important health & safety is at events and the need for contingency plans, as well as identify health, safety and security issues at events and identify requirements for a hospitality event. You will plan an event including entertainment, venue, health & safety and a contingency plan. During this course you will develop an understanding of customer service and why good customer service is important and how poor customer service can affect customers and the organisation. You will learn about making a good impression and positive verbal and non-verbal communication. You will be able to respond to customer queries and complaints.
